These Terms govern your use of Email Hero, a service operated by Glass Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting a mailbox, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Email Hero connects to your Gmail mailbox with your permission and sorts incoming mail into categories, applying and removing Gmail labels so that messages can be archived or marked as read. It does not delete mail, move mail to trash, report spam, send mail, create drafts, insert messages, fetch attachments, or create Gmail filters or rules on your behalf.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you connect and for all activity under your Email Hero account. You may connect only mailboxes you own or are authorised to administer.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules.
Email Hero is a paid subscription. A payment method is required at sign-up. New accounts receive a seven-day free trial; unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically and the payment method on file is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. Prices are shown at purchase and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms. Cancellations and refunds for those purchases are handled in your Apple account subscription settings, and we cannot process them for you.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Where a purchase was made directly from us rather than through an app store, we will refund a period on request within fourteen days of that period's charge if the service has not been substantially used. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.
Our handling of your mailbox data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: message bodies are never stored, Google user data is never used to train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models, and you can disconnect your mailbox or delete your account at any time.
You retain all rights in your data. You grant us only the limited licence necessary to operate the service for you.
Every change Email Hero makes to your mailbox is a Gmail label change and can be reversed. You can turn on Protection Paused at any time to stop the service making further changes to your mail while keeping your account active.
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period not yet delivered.
The service depends on the Gmail API. Changes, outages or restrictions imposed by Google may affect or interrupt the service, and are outside our control.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Email Hero is an organisational aid. It is not a backup service, and it does not guarantee that any particular message will be categorised the way you would have categorised it. You remain responsible for reviewing your own mail.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms, or on reasonable notice for any other reason, refunding any prepaid period not yet delivered. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
